Few days prior to the dinner.. The ladies would be busy shopping for gifts and groceries. For the last 3 xmas, we have been preparing a "feast" and enjoying the sumptuous dinner. This year was no exception.
Some of us met up few days ago for shopping. Working on a tight budget, we had Val to make sure we did not exceed the budget. The guys just had to pay and come with their present for exchange. All others done by the ladies.
On the very day of xmas eve, Ping drove me to Sixth Avenue to get our strudel. We decided to do away with the log cake this year cos we didnt want to trouble Kang's mum. And log cakes in the market were really really expensive. By the time we were ready for "cake" cutting, we reckoned that everyone would be too full. So yeah, strudel!
Ping drove to Hongwei's place to pick up the mahjong table and all the misc stuff before heading down to Chingyee's place for the food. I could not imagine the travelling w/o Ping's help. Thanks soooooo much babe!

I soooo love my clique.
Although we did not have wonderful and expensive food, we had great company!
Next xmas, Ysing will be the ic.. Ladies will still get busy when the day approaches.. The whole cycle shall continue again. Ha!
