Happy 6th birthday to Audrey!! Finally get to celebrate your birthday since 4 years ago huh!! Haha..

If u can do some simple mathematical calculation, you would have guess how old my friend is.

Yes.

She is 24.

I think it is so cool to have been born on 29 Feb because you get to choose whether you want to celebrate on 28 Feb or 1 Mar or both!! Wahaha..

I went to catch a movie with Rach, Van and Bin. The movie, Juno, is a Oscar nominated movie and I just happened to see it in the papers a couple of moments ago that it is the winner of "Best Original Screen Play". And Zif said it is a MUST-WATCH movie!!!

Normally Zif has quite good critics for movies so I was looking forward to see the movie.. It is about teenage pregnancy and how this 16 year old decided to keep the baby and give birth to him and give him away for adoption..

In the end, my personal rating for this movie is..

2 out of 5 pop corns..
(I think I will like it more if I am a teenager.. Not when I am an adult..)

Teenage pregnancy?

I think I am overaged..

But I still admire her courage to tell her parents and stick to her decision to give birth despite having to face the fact that people around her will see her differently. And her parents' calm reaction.. It is indeed a movie.. Haha..

The father of the child is this timid looking classmate of her. But I guess people dunno that he is the father ba..

Anyway, it's a NC16 movie so if u are thinking of bringing your younger siblings to watch it, make sure they are of legal age. :)

Seriously, I should have watched The Leap Year!!!!!

Sorry girls for suggesting the movie!! We will watch Leap Year next week? Keke..

Drama Mama

Lately, I have been watching a taiwanese drama "Romantic Princess 公主小妹" and korean drama " My Girl 我的女孩"..

Coincidentally, both dramas talk about some poor girl turn into a rich girl overnight.. Both with dashing lead actors!! And the funny thing is the supporting lead actors for both dramas actually look like each other!! Wahaha.. I think one of them must have copied the other to a certain extent..

I kinda enjoy watching such lovey dovey dramas.. Cos I think I like to watch happy endings.. Both both couples had to go through a lot before they are finally together.. Will my love life be so dramatic in future?? I hope not..

Just a simple one will do..

Recently, I have been thinking about the topic on "relationship". Not desperate that kind but rather thinking about the pros and cons of getting attached. Have been seeing both the goods and bads happening around me these days..

Helping my juniors on V Day.. That he baked cookies for the 1st time just to give them to her, all the surprises that he had planned for her.. Really touching.. I am glad I helped..

Blissful married couples with kids.. I think children are really the bond between a couple.. I have been spending some time with kids these days.. Jeven, Nathaniel and Jeremiah.. I will post their photos soon... Hope I get to meet a little girl soon cos I have been playing with boys.. Haha..

On the other side of the relationship is the bad side.. Quarrels and breakups and separation.. Pissed and heartbroken individuals.. Ppl who are close to me.. Sometimes I really dunno how to advise them because I am never (or have not been) put into the situation.. I am sorry to those whom I failed to help..

Suddenly feel like saying this..

To all concerned,

I am healing and recovering well.. I think I have moved on.. But there is still a part of me hanging there because I feel that I need a closure.. However, I dunno how to initiate a meet up because it will be rather awkward. We have spoken less now, almost not speaking to each other at all. So it has become rather clear that we are going separate ways.. Whatever it is, I iwsh him all the best.. :)

Dear X,

I do not know how to put it across to you so I decided to blog here..

I am really not interested in getting the medal because I think that I am passionate and enjoy the game not becos we can definitely win something from it. I really enjoyed playing with the game although I may not be good at all.

I am not a smart and talented player. I need to work much harder than others in order to reach their standard. I have been putting in a lot of effort and I am glad I did because my sense of satisfaction came from there. I will continue to play the game and influence others to start playing. Thank you for allowing me to play in last year's squad. I really learnt a lot.

I think that "my" medal should be given to someone else, esp those graduating Yr 2s.. When I smsed you saying that I am willing to give up "my" medal to the 13th person (12th medals only supposedly), you told me I was the 13th. Thanks. That was very comforting??! But frankly, I thought that sounded a bit hurting.. Well, I guess I was too sensitive.. :)

Thank you for trying your best to cater to everyone and trying to make sure that everyone who played get what they deserve. But a medal from the past team (which I did not even contribute to the winning at all) would be on zero significance value to me.

Hope U understand..

Sorry if I was too offensive here. :)

With regards,
Ling

Firstly, Happy Birthday to my Darling, Ysing!!! May u continue to charm the many weakened hearts around u.. Heehee!!

Ok.. Some updates since I bought my PSP..

Basically, everyone here would realise that the recent few posts are so short. Yes.. I have lost my motivation to blog to a certain extent.. I have been busy meeting friends and with school work.. CNY was madness!! Even though there was not much visiting done, every time I went to somewhere to visit, I would stay there for hours, catching up with friends.

Day 1 of CNY was spent at Gran's place. Even though Gran has passed away for more than 10 years, we still preferred to call it "Gran's place" because it is a common lingo for my family. Nothing exciting happened and I ended up reading the Chinese Xin Min and Wan Bao for the past month to catch up with the Edison Chen's hoohas!! Haha.. Oh ya, I met up with some of my girlies for a drink at JP Coffee Bean. It's always nice meeting up with them..

Day 2 of CNY was spent at Eldest Bro's place at AMK.. It was then my family would have a steamboat lunch makan.. I loved the toufu with cheese fillings.. It tasted like the Cheese Sausage from Chinatown, except that the meat part was replaced with the toufu.. Haha.. Ok.. A big difference.. Wanted to visit a sec sch classmate at his place but I was rather shy. Haven't been talking to his gf for years and felt it was awkward to be there.. She was someone I used to be very close to. Until now, I still do not know the reason why we drifted apart so drastically. I hope I get to salvage this friendship again.. Ok another reason was due to the tons of E-learning assignment to be completed over the CNY week.. Evil lecturers from NIE!!!!

Day 3 of CNY was spent at Huijing's place, meeting up with my batch of Sport Secretaries. I really enjoyed spending time with them. They are a special bunch of people who have a significant place in my heart. He did not turn up for the gathering. Dunno what the reason was but somehow he turned up even though I kept saying that it was better for him not to show up for the gathering. I think I need a closure because until now, there is still a part of me hanging there, clueless.

Day 4 was spent slacking at home and playing PSP. So not much things to mention..

Subsequently, it was Valentines' Day. This year, I spent an interesting V Day helping my junior to put light sticks at a park! Mission accomplished because the girl was touched!! Didn't know my light stick method can also work for these kids.. Dinner was great with the company of 3 juniors.. Hope the 3 of you will find your true love too!! Heehee..

I am glad that he had won her heart to a certain extent. Although I may have not found my own happiness, it is still heartwarming to see that others are blissful, especially when I played a part in making a positive impact in their relationship.. :)

Went over to Mamee Ruoying's place last weekend for CNY visit.. And goodness!! Baby Jeremiah was soooooo cute. I frowned at him for being a naughty boy and he actually frowned back!! After a short while of frowning, he smiled and that was when my heart melted.. Buay tahan.. Just have this soft spot for 1-4 years old kids.. But after which, they turned into monsters and spoiled brats!

Went for tim sum at 1am this morning to celebrate Darling's bdae!! Yee's Estima was so big that the boys ended up adjusting the seats so that the space was big enough for them to lie down.. Goodness! I can never afford such a big car this lifetime!

Ok.. That's all for the updates! Will post some photos soon..
