Just came back from Sports Sec Supper. Although not alot of the guys turned up but we sure had fun.

We were having our supper when someone talked about Tammy. I am sure you guys reading my blog will not be unfamiliar with the name as this is one of the most talkabout topic for the past week.. I just listened and did not wish to commend. I think the media have given her too much attention. She is just a school girl with her future ruined now. Really pity her to a certain extent.

Luckily I have got the weekend to have a good rest (at the expense of my other assignment). But I was really burnt out and I need this break badly..

Went to town to meet the clique for dinner to celebrate Ysing's 21st..

Spent 2 hours dolling up.. Thanks to my hair!! Wahahaha..

Had dinner at Heeren's NYDC and dessert at Paragon's Bakerzin. Splurge!!

HO Closing marked the end of NTU Inter Hall Games.. This means that the Sports Secs will not be meeting so often anymore.. Think I will really miss these people..

But I guess if there are people who initiate get-together, this lovely bunch of people will not hesitate.. This IH is especially meaningful to the Sports Secs from all 15 halls. Instead of enemies or rivals, we become a close bunch of frens and buddies. During IH, we have been thru lotsa shits. Guess all these made us stronger and bonded us together as a team.. People around look at us differently. We are proud to wear the Sports Secs Tee around campus.

For we are JOINT HALL SPORTS SECRETARIES 2005/2006.

Happy 21st Burfdae to Smurf Babe - Miss Quek..

Tonight seemed to be the longest and most groomy night after so long..

How does it feel when the person who has a significant place in your heart suddenly becomes someone else's bf on V Day?

I did a video for him to sort of round up all the past events we had been thru together. It was a sad but touching video.. Done with a lot of effort.

I sent it over to him thru MSN.


He watched.


He thanked me for the video.


He told me he just got attached on V day (the day itself whe the video was sent).


I was shocked.


I was relieved I finally got an answer.


I give my sincere blessing..


I am happy as long as he feels happy with her..

All those out there, thanks for all the care and concern.. I will be fine soon.. In fact, I am coping well.. I never knew I was so brave to accept it so positively. I think I have grown up.

After her guests left, we celebrated our brudder's burfdae.. Leong finally got the limelight cos he is usually our quiet photographer.. And tell u wad.. Four Leaves Cakes are DAMN nice!!! Leong's Mango Cake was simply YUMMY!!!! So much so that I ate 2 pieces!!

The highlight of the night was the forfeit Mel had to do.. The guys were playing some "Shoot the Balloons" game with matchsticks and Mel suggested the loser kiss me.. Then, Andy went to try and he hit and burst a balloon!! So Mel became the LOSER!! And his forfeit was to kiss me!!! Retribution!! Wahahha.. Thinking that I would not agree to the forfeit, he was so yaya abt it until I decided to be gamed for it and allowed the forfeit on me! So many cams waiting to capture the shot but only Junren's cam made it!!! Haha..



After that, Mel was so embarrassed he kept quiet whole night!!

I simply love my clique... I feel so "at home" with them around.. I can forgo any outing for them.. With them, the ladies are really pampered.. But sometimes, the guys can be quite idiotic.. Haha.. Nevertheless, they are the best bunch around.. Sorry if I offend any group of frens but u guys must understnad that this bunch went to thick and thin with me, watch me grow and mature and they are always by my side..

I AM SINGLE FOR HALF A DECADE!!!

5 years ago, my ex broke up with me and I was cursed, until today! Haha..

I have come a long long way this 5 years.. Some passed by my life and left footprints in my heart.. One is still the reason why I am still single today..

So far, I am still enjoying singlehood.. So pls dun matchmake and worry about whether I will find a bf soon.. Thanks ar.. Haha..

I did my groceries shopping and was heading back hall when i saw 2 people in their most desperate state..

Hall 5 had their Annual Bazaar tonight. Their canteen was filled with stalls selling variety of food.. They had a game stall which u can throw flour and egg and their JCRC members and Poh Lin was chosen to be floured.. Ya.. U saw the picture above.. *beam*

This evening, Exco and I went to attend Rismin's wedding dinner at Blue Diamond Restaurant in Little India.

I went home after tuition before preparing for the dinner. Was lazy to cook so ended up having an empty stomach thinking that I would be able to eat at the reception.

Took the train with Daddy as he was heading to Ang Mo Kio to attend some function. It has been a long time since I took train with Daddy.. So happy! (I am easily contented..)

Met the Exco at Little India Station. Each of us paid $30 for the wedding green packet cos we did not know what to get for her.. We could not recognise her when we reached the restaurant. She was dressed in this golden sari and drowned with jewelleries!! She iterally looked like a walking piece of gold bar!! Haha..

First time attending a Indian wedding, it was an eye opener for us because they will not be many opportunity to do so.. They served buffet and the food was EXOTIC.. I couldnt find another word to describe it. To me, I do not like spicy food simply becos I can take them and the buffet looked so spicy. The only dish which appeared less spicy to me was the rice! There was no curry vegetables like cabbages etc. I was already so hungry so I had no choice but to eat the food.. Sobsob.. Ended up drinking more than I ate..

Time really flies. 3 years ago when Ris 1st told us that she was getting married, we thought she was joking. But now seeing her blissfully wedded, we felt happy for her. :)

After the dinner, we went to Rochor to eat beancurd.. Yummy!! I bought a few back for Weihao, Shu Ying, Shu Yan, Alex, Karen, Hengkia and Yanying.. Think I was not used to Indian food cos when I alighted from the cab, I vomited into the drain.. Walked to Hall 12 to deliver and when I was on my way back, it started to rain.. How romantic?!?!?! In the end had to go back and borrow umbrella from Hengkia..

Ling had a busy day.

Early in the morning at 10am, she had to g to the Rugby Field at SRC (NTU) to meet the Sports Secs for the Joint Hall Sports Secs Softball Challenge.

Ling played Softball!!! However, she was a lousy batter despite the fact that se could catch quite well. Bottom line is she should play more often.. Haha..

Next, Ling went to JP to get birthday present and cake for Huijing (Hall 3 Sports Sec). Celebrated her 21st burfdae at Heritage Centre after the Road Relay. Huijing was caught by surprise when the rest were sitting dow getting ready to take picture. She joined in and when the camerawoman counted to 3, everyone started singing her birthday song..

Next, the guys carried her into the fountain for a dip.. We got her a YELLOW star cushion as well as a YELLOW Nike Sports Bra. (Hall 3 hall colour is YELLOW!!)
