What a week..
Monday, May 28, 2007 / 10:41 PM

It had been a super busy and hectic week for me..

NIE Induction Programme and college's activities..

I have been running between NIE and JJ this week. Every evening after my induction programme, I travelled down to JJ for my juniors' camp preparation and investiture rehearsal.

*Drained*

After one hectic week, I finally get to rest and get charged up.

This week, I am going to do some retail therapy and read up abt Vietnam so that I can have a "safe" backpacking trip.

Besides, I think I really need some time with my family.

West Zone SL Camp 2007

Last week's camp, I was really pissed off by the attitude of some councillors from the 26th. This made me realised that sometimes, the teacher-in-charge plays a big part in imparting the right values and attitudes in the juniors..

To those juniors under this particular teacher:
Stop giving me the fucked up attitude. I was invited back to help. Even Mr Koh, Uncle Ng and Lao Shi also talk to me nicely.. You better watch the way you speak to me..

Thanks Jieshi..

All time low
Thursday, May 17, 2007 / 1:13 AM

Life is like a roller coaster ride..

Now I believe in this saying..

Ppl always know me as a bubbly and cheerful individual.. Many dunno that I am actually at my all time low recently..

Many things happened and caused the change in my mood.

Sometimes, I just need ppl around me to be more understanding..

I dun like it when ppl like telling me to pon (skip) one event to attend another. Especially when the event I am asked to skip is something of great importance and significance to me..

What is then deem as significant and important?

1. JJ Affairs (esp when it concerns Character Development Programme)
Examples: training student leaders and running camps.

This one is like a sure no-no. Unless I personally say I want to skip the event, if not please dun try asking me to give it a miss. If I tell u that I have to attend the above-related events. just smile and say ok.. Dun even try asking me if it is possible to skip.

2. *CPS Affairs (esp when it concerns the well being of my students or at the expense of my colleagues)

This is going to be the upcoming 2nd most important thing in my life for the next 3 years. I am paid to do the job becos I am bonded. So I have to live with the fact that I will be called by the school anything to settle some important stuff. Meaning to say that sometimes if I were to back out from gatherings or functions at the very last minute, it may be due to work commitment.

Actually I am quite lost now.. I dunno who to confide my problems to.Becos somehow ppl whom I want to share the problems are parts of the problems themselves.. So things become a little tricky.

I hope u guys/gers will understand that I am currently at a very difficult crossroads in life now. Either make or break. Only I can help myself.. Dun add on to my problems.. Just be a bit more patient with me.. I apologised for causing anyone to be pissed out or worried during these few weeks..

I must pull thru... I will be back stronger..

Actions vs Words
Sunday, May 06, 2007 / 2:07 AM

This weekend I learnt something which I want to share with my blog readers.

If you want people to make changes to their plans for an upcoming important outing (like postponing other outings), make sure you turn up for the outing yourself.

Enough said.

Cabbies at 7am
Wednesday, May 02, 2007 / 8:48 AM

Some cabbies just pissed ppl off!

Have u meet cabbies who are rude nad reckless on the road?

What are those who drives exceptionally slow when u are very late?

Or those who "purposely" go that "extra mile" for you to pay more?

Well.. There are really so many black sheeps around within the cab drivers in Singapore. Just this morning I was kinda pissed off by this cab driver from the company with the blue cabs. This was what happened.

I decided to take a cab to school this morning instead of taking the bus becos of the drizzle. So I went to the main road and waited for a cab at 650am. By right, if I am able to get a cab in time, I will reach school at 705am.. And usually for the stretch of road, it is quite fast to get a cab.

I was waiting beside the road near a junction turning to a carpark. So at about 655am a cab came from the opposite side and I flagged. It decided to make an U turn for me. It was waiting to turn to my side of the road but the traffic was really heavy. In the end, the cabby decided to turn into the next carpark. I supposed it want to make a turn inside the car park so that it was able to pick me up on my side of the road.

Happy.

So I waited.

And waited.

And waited.

But it did not turn out. And it was close to 7am soon, which means I have to pay $2 more for the surcharge.

I was envious to get into a ab by 7am so that I dun have to pay that $2! But the cabby didnt turn out aft a long wait. Luckily, another cab came by so I decided to flagged for it instead.

659am. I managed to hop on before 7am.

So I turned around and saw the cab finally wanting to turn out.

Too late! I was too pissed.

How can cabby do this just to earn that $2? I am disappointed la..

Not only was I almost late for school but I came in feeling so pissed of with the cabby.

So sickening that I didnt manage to catch the car plate no. If not, I am sure to lodge a complaint. I dun care if he is the sole breadwinner trying to earn a living out of driving cab. But it is really not ethical to do that. Hope that man is not one of my friends' parent..
