Went to the Zoo today with Rachel, Aron and Ray..

The last time I went to the Zoo was about 10 years ago. It was an excursion and we only went to a classroom for some science experiment. Now, the Zoo has really changed so much..

No longer it is called Singapore Zoological Gardens. They called it Singapore Zoo now. But I believe some residents stay there since then..

Anyway, it was a fruitful excursion for me. While scaffolding the kids learn at the zoo, Rachel and I agreed that we both learnt as much as them too.. We prompted them questions and asked them to write down notes or interesting things they had learnt. Now I can tell the difference between a leopard and a jaguar. The kids and Rachel can too!

Dinner was a sinful meal. Had KFC and Ben and Jerry ice cream for dessert. Finally get to eat ice cream after such a long time.. Yum!

Definitely a tiring but enriching day out! The kids want to go Science Centre and Discovery Centre.. Must arrange again lor..
