Life of a BUSY PE Teacher
Thursday, January 25, 2007 / 9:03 PM

Many of u would have known by now that I play Netball. So my class rep made me the captain for PESS Inter Class Games (Netball) becos someone else rejected the "offer".. Luckily, Jab volunteered to help to get the guys..

On Tues night, we played our preliminary round. We were in a grouping which teams were not strong.therefore we cleared our prelim quite easily. The guys were having some fun playing shooters and defenders.. Attacks were great, defence was fantastic! (Thanks to Ed, Clement, Van, Alfiah, Jab, Yongsheng, Jon & Thomas for staying back to play and support..)

Back hall at 1030pm. Had to mug for Exercise Physio test the following morning and only managed to sleep at 4am. After which, morning lesson which I detest the most. First, test at 830am. Followed ny 2.41km run at 1030 which I wasnt prepared but managed to survive.

Tutorial from 1230 to 230, forcing to keep myself awake..

330 - 430: Spent 1hr at the tennis court under the hot sun. By then, I was already super exhausted! Softball straight after tennis. 2 hours under the sun again. I knew I was physically drained by then but had to hang on cos Netball ICG quarter finals was on the same night.

Netball from 7 to 10pm!

Back hall at 1230am!!

So u see, life as a PE trainee teacher is never easy. So what if we have less modules to clear? You wont understand when ur body is physically and mentally drained unless you are an athlete who trains consistently.. Other than them, PE teachers know that feeling the best..
