Yesterday was as usual. I nua-ed the whole afternoon at Gran's place to play with my nephews and niece. I realised that the kids are kinda scared of me in a good way. Maybe becos they know that I am going to be a teacher soon. Maybe it is like an unspoken respect given.

Went home at night to catch the final of the Singapore Idol. Good! Not too bad for the both of the finalists but of cos there is always room for improvement. Seems like the judges favoured Jonathan more than Hady. Maybe last season Taufik (a Malay) won so this season we are hoping to see a Chinese walk away with the title. Oops!
I love staying at home. Although there is nuttin much to do (or rather not much time to do anything also). Ever since I moved out and stay in hostel, I realised that my relationship Dad Dad improves. We are sharing more opinions and he is more understanding now. Maybe becos his only darling princess seldom comes home. So he has to be nicer to me..
This makes me understand that when family members fell out, the children (who are financially independent) can just pack their bags and go, leaving the parents in lure. Many a times, some want to go back to their parents but it is just the pride in them which they cannot put down. I wonder if I have watched to much drama.. But I doubt so cos life as a hostelite revolves only ard the laptop and the 4 walls in the room.
For those of u staying in hostel and have not been home recently, maybe it's time to make a trip back home. For those already staying at home, when was the last time u and ur Dad Dad or Mum have had a decent and engaging conversation?
