Myth: Blood donation is a painful process.
Fact: Cos true cos the nurses will first inject some painkiller into u and numb the area. After which, u will not feel the pain when the syringe needle is inserted into the vein.
Myth: It takes forever to fill the packet with blood.
Fact: Well, at least it is ot true for me.. I sat down and waited for the nurse to attend to me. When she finally inserted the needle to draw the blood. Instantly, the blood gasped out and thru the tube, went to the bag.
I took out my camera and novel. Then, I decided to take a few pictures in the room and before I could even start reading my book, my packet of blood was almost filled and done! All these seemed to be happening within 10 min. Wonder if I have too much blood to spare?! Haha..
Roomie!!

1 packet of blood can save a few lives.. :)

Losing blood for a good cause..

Happy Donor..

IHG Track Meet was almost a disaster this evening. As convening hall for the event, I felt lousy and demoralised. There were so many disqualifications. The rain dampened the morale of everyone. I believed the runners had been affected too.
During the Sports Sec Meeting, 2 appeal cases were been brought up. If they were to appeal to HOC, there goes Alex and my clean record for going up to HOC. But it seems we have to make the trip there. Huijing (Hall 3 Sports Sec) said despite the disqualifications, things went on fine and that we had done a good job cos it was not easy to coordinate the meet. Thanks for the nice words. Really appreciate it.
Things could have gone worst without the help of all the Sports Sec from the other halls. Really appreciate the help of all those guys.. Thanks.
The rain did damped my spirit and morale. But I believe that I will become a stronger person after going thru all these shit. Yet again, I really hope that the weather will be fine and back to sunny days soon..
Sports Sec..
