Happy Weekend..

Sometimes, u really need to have a ncie group of colleagues so that u have ppl to motivate and push u on..

This applies to teachers, especially me.

Friday was Racial Harmony Night in school and we ended at about 9+pm..

After that, I joined some of my colleagues for supper at Bukit Timah. Initially, I thought it was weird to join them for supper becos I am a new teacher who just joined the sch less than 6 months. But, the supper turned out to be a session which I get to know some of my colleagues better.

It is nice to gossip and bitch about work. Haha..

But sometimes, we just hae to leave the spoken words there and then. Listen and forget abt it. And live on..

I guess that's why we need such sessions.

Think in future when I return to NIE, I will continue to join my colleagues for such sessions.

Last night, for the 1st time in my life, I stepped into a LAN Shop to see some of my friends play DOTA.

It's really an all-guy place and the whole place was like in a darkness. Except from the lights from the computer monitors..

It took me a while to finally know a little abt the game but just that the guys were to engrossed in the game that they had no time to entertain me.

Had to wait for Yao to finish his NDP debrief before I can make my way down to Paradiz Centre with him. So in the end, I didnt follow the kids back to school becos I had to get some gift for a dear friend.

Shall not disclose any more info abt this fren.. Haha..

Yao messaged me in the evening to tell me that he was able to meet me for a while at the Promenade.. So when I received the message from him, I called to ask him for his location and hopped off happily to look for him for the finale fireworks, leaving my kids in lure.. Haha..

I had to play a little "hide-and-seek" so that the kids would not be able to see him. So in the end, we sneaked into the gallery to watch the firewords for a while before he was called back to office for a debrief..

And the wait was long.. Spent 2 hours at the mall and spent on some Redoxon Vit C and a 3/4 pants.. Plus I managed to get the gift for the friend..

So it was all worthwhile..

To get what I want to get and see who I am to see... :)
